This factual report shows that helicopter-supported recreation, both winter and summer, can and does adversely affect Alaskan communities, home and cabin owners, residents and visitors recreating on our public lands, and wildlife.
It describes the activities; locations; the noise impacts and how they are assessed; and the laws, regulations and policies available to help manage such impacts.
